Born and raised in the small suburban town of Drogheda, Ireland… David has been forever obsessed with the traditional folk and Celtic sentiments of his own musical heritage. Having absorbed and digested these more indigenous influences, David has continued his musical explorations far and wide, seeking out and discovering other multi-ethnic Eastern, African, and Native American textures, rhythms, melodies, and instrumentations. By combining these diverse instincts together with a firm grasp of the more contemporary and western approach to state of the art production, sound design and song structure, David creates the profoundly innovative and deeply inspired expressions that have become synonymous with his recordings.
